Sept-Sorts is located about 16 kilometers east-southeast of Meaux on the Marne , which borders the municipality in the north. Sept-Sorts is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre in the north and east, Jouarre in the south and south-east, Sammeron in the west and Ussy-sur-Marne in the north-west.
