Dammartin-sur-Tigeaux is a French commune with 1,068 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Meaux and the canton of Fontenay-Trésigny (until 2015: canton of Rozay-en-Brie ). The inhabitants are called Dammartinois .
geography
Dammartin-sur-Tigeaux is about 50 kilometers east-southeast of Paris . The Grand Morin limits the community in the northeast. Dammartin-sur-Tigeaux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tigeaux in the north, Guérard in the east, Mortcerf in the south and Villeneuve-le-Comte in the west.
The Route nationale 36 borders the municipality in the west.
