Coulombs-en-Valois is a French municipality with 571 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Meaux and is part of the canton of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre (until 2015: canton of Lizy-sur-Ourcq ).
geography
Coulombs-en-Valois is located about 20 kilometers northeast of Meaux and about 50 kilometers east-northeast of Paris . The Clignon River limits the municipality to the north. Coulombs-en-Valois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montigny-l'Allier in the north and north-west, Brumetz in the north and north-east, Gandelu in the east and north-east, Germigny-sous-Coulombs in the east, Dhuisy in the south-east, Vendrest in the south and south-west as well Crouy-sur-Ourcq to the west.
