Luzancy is a French commune with 1,110 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Meaux and the canton of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre . The inhabitants are called Luzancéens .
geography
Luzancy is about 20 kilometers east-northeast of Meaux in an arch of the Marne , which borders the municipality in the north. Luzancy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sainte-Aulde in the north, Méry-sur-Marne in the east, Reuil-en-Brie in the south and southwest and Chamigny in the west.
