Isles-les-Meldeuses is a French municipality with 806 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Meaux and is part of the canton of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre (until 2015: canton of Lizy-sur-Ourcq ). The inhabitants are called Iléos-Meldois .

geography

Isles-les-Meldeuses is located about nine kilometers northeast of Meaux and about 50 kilometers east-northeast of Paris on the Marne . Isles-les-Meldeuses is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Congis-sur-Thérouanne in the north and north-west, Mary-sur-Marne in the north-east, Tancrou in the east, Armentières-en-Brie in the south and Germigny-l'Évêque in the west and south-west.
