Citry is a French municipality with 917 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Meaux and the canton of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre . The inhabitants are called citryats .
geography
Citry is about 23 kilometers east of Meaux on the Marne , which borders the municipality in the north. Citry is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Crouttes-sur-Marne in the north and east, Charly-sur-Marne in the east, Pavant in the south-east, Bussières in the south, Saâcy-sur-Marne in the west and Nanteuil-sur-Marne in the north-west.
