Mauperthuis is a French municipality with 483 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Meaux and the Canton of Coulommiers . The inhabitants are called Malperthusiens .
geography
Mauperthuis is located about 51 kilometers east-southeast of Paris on the Aubetin River , which crosses the municipality in the southwest. Mauperthuis is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Beautheil-Saints in the north, east and south and Saint-Augustin in the west.
