Bussières is a French municipality with 524 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Meaux and the canton of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre . The inhabitants are called Bussièrois .
geography
Bussières is about ten kilometers east of Meaux . The Marne limits the municipality in the northeast. Bussières is surrounded by the neighboring communities Saâcy-sur-Marne in the north and north-west, Citry in the north, Charly-sur-Marne in the north-east, Bassevelle in the east, Orly-sur-Morin in the south, and Saint-Ouen-sur-Morin in the south Southwest and Saint-Cyr-sur-Morin to the west and southwest.
