Giremoutiers is a French municipality with 172 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Meaux and the Canton of Coulommiers . The residents are called Giremontois .
geography
Giremoutiers is about 50 kilometers east of Paris . Giremoutiers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Haute-Maison and Pierre-Levée in the north, Jouarre in the north-east, Aulnoy in the east, Mouroux in the south and east, Pommeuse in the south and south-west and Maisoncelles-en-Brie in the west and north-west.
The Coulommiers-Voisins airfield is partly located in the municipality.
