Crouttes-sur-Marne is a French commune with a population of 647 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Essômes-sur-Marne . The residents are known as crouttats .
geography
The wine-growing community (AOC Champagne) is located on the north bank of the Marne between Charly-sur-Marne and Nanteuil-sur-Marne, four and a half kilometers to the east, on the border with the Seine-et-Marne department . North closes Bézu-le-Guéry to, on the south side of the Marne Citry . The D969 département road, which follows the Marne valley, runs through the municipality. The localities of Petit-Porteron (upstream of the Marne) and Montmilon (downstream of the Marne) belong to the municipality. There is a rail connection via the nearby Nanteuil-Saâcy train station.

- The church of Saint-Quiriace , which dates back to the 12th century, has been registered as a Monument historique since 1928 ( Base Mérimée PA00115642).
