Épaux-Bézu is a French municipality with 556 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the region of Hauts-de-France . It is located in the Aisne department , in the Château-Thierry arrondissement . Étampes-sur-Marne is part of the canton of Château-Thierry and the Région de Château-Thierry municipal association . The inhabitants are called Palusiens .

Épaux-Bézu is located about 78 kilometers east-northeast of Paris . Épaux-Bézu is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bonnesvalyn in the north and north-west, Grisolles in the north and north-east, Bézu-Saint-Germain in the east, Château-Thierry in the south and south-east, Étrépilly in the south, Belleau in the south-west and Monthiers in the west.

history

In 1851 Épaux and Bézu-les-Fèves were merged to form today's municipality.
