Vichel-Nanteuil is a French commune with a population of 87 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Villers-Cotterêts .

geography

The community is located around 24 kilometers north-northwest of Château-Thierry in the Ourcq valley on its orographic left bank. The community consists of the two eponymous districts and Béancourt. Neighboring municipalities are Torcy-en-Valois in the north, Montgru-Saint-Hilaire in the east, Latilly in the south and Neuilly-Saint-Front in the west. The railway line from La Ferté-Milon to Bazoches-sur-Vesles , which meets the line from Soissons to Reims there, runs through the municipality , with a stop (Gare de Neuilly-Saint-Front).
