Vézilly is a French municipality with 185 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Fère-en-Tardenois .

geography

The municipality is located around 15 kilometers east of Fère-en-Tardenois and 16 kilometers south of Fismes on the border with the Marne department on the Semoigne . The districts of Le Vieux Vézilly and Vieux Vendôme belong to the municipality. In the south, the route of the LGV Est européenne touches the municipality. Neighboring communities are Arcis-le-Ponsart (with the Igny Monastery ) in the north, Lagery and Aougny in the east, Villers-Agron-Aiguizy and Goussancourt in the south and Coulonges-Cohan in the west.
