Coulonges-Cohan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chéry-Chartreuve in the north and north-west, Dravegny in the north, Arcis-le-Ponsat in the north-east, Vézilly in the east, Goussancourt in the south and south-east, Cierges in the south and south-west, Sergy in the west and south-west as well Seringes-et-Nesles to the west and north-west.
