La Croix-sur-Ourcq is a French municipality with 105 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Villers-Cotterêts .
geography
The municipality, located around 15 kilometers (by road) north of Château-Thierry , is close to the D1 departmental road to Soissons . To the east, the municipality is bounded by a route along the Chaussée Brunehaut . The municipality includes Montigny with a castle and Triange in the south. Contrary to what the name suggests, the municipality does not reach the Ourcq valley .
