Romeny-sur-Marne is a French commune with a population of 504 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Essômes-sur-Marne . The inhabitants are called romenyats .

geography

The wine-growing community (Appelation Champagne) is located 12 km southwest of Château-Thierry in the Marne valley on the orographic right bank between Bonneil (upstream) and Saulchery (downstream). The district Moucherelle belongs to the municipality. Other neighboring communities are Charly-sur-Marne and on the opposite bank of the river Chézy-sur-Marne and Nogent-l'Artaud (with train station).
