Pargny-la-Dhuys is a French municipality with 170 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Essômes-sur-Marne (formerly: Condé-en-Brie).
geography
Pargny-la-Dhuys is located around 15 kilometers southwest of Château-Thierry on the border with the Marne department on the river Dhuys or Dhuis. Pargny includes the towns of Bas Laval, Montgrimont, Ville-aux-Bois, Les Roches and Mongon to the west of the Dhuys, and Fontaine, Bellevue and La Cramaillerie to the east. To the east is the Bois de Pargny forest, to the east the group of houses by Courjeanson.
