Jaulgonne is a French municipality with 645 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Essômes-sur-Marne (until 2015 Condé-en-Brie ). The inhabitants are called Jaulgonnais .

geography

Jaulgonne is about 85 kilometers east-northeast of Paris . The Marne limits the municipality to the south. Jaulgonne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Charmel in the north, Barzy-sur-Marne in the east, Courtemont-Varennes in the south and Chartèves in the west and south-west.
