Villers-Agron-Aiguizy is a French commune with a population of 74 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Fère-en-Tardenois .

geography

The municipality on the Semoigne is located around 18 kilometers east of Fère-en-Tardenois on the border with the Marne department and is touched by the LGV Est européenne and Autoroute A 4 , to which junction 21 leads, but which has no connection in the community has. The districts of Forzy and Longereau also belong to the municipality. There is a golf course south of Villers-Agron.

history

In the municipality there was a Gallo-Roman settlement, in Aguizy a Neropole from the Merovingian period. Aiguizy was united with Berthenay with Villers-Agron in 1819.
