Torcy-en-Valois is a French commune with a population of 73 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Villers-Cotterêts .

geography

The municipality in the Orxois countryside on the D9 departmental road around eleven and a half kilometers west-northwest of Château-Thierry is on the left bank of the Clignon , which forms a left tributary of the Ourcq . Neighboring communities are Licy-Clignon in the north, Belleau in the east, Lucy-le-Bocage in the south and Bussiares in the west. From 1822 to 1832 she was united with Belleau. In 1933 she adopted the addition "en Valois".
