Chézy-en-Orxois is a French municipality with 404 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Villers-Cotterêts .

The community on the D11 départemental road lies mainly at the height between the Clignon river , a left tributary of the Ourcq , and the Ru d'Allan stream. is bounded in the west by Ourcq, around 21 km west-northwest of Château-Thierry . It includes the districts of Vailly, La Briqueterie, La Couture and La Cour aux Moines. Neighboring municipalities are La Ferté-Milon , Dammard and Macogny in the north, Saint-Gengoulph in the east, Brumetz in the south, Montigny-l'Allier and an exclave of Marolles in the west.
