Bruyeres-sur-Fere is a French municipality with 189 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Fère-en-Tardenois . The inhabitants are known as Bruyérois .

geography

The municipality, located around 20 kilometers north of Château-Thierry and six kilometers west of Fère-en-Tardenois , is mainly south of the Ourcq . It includes the groups of houses Trugny, Le Moulin, Val Chrétien with the ruins of the Premonstratensian abbey of the same name , Corbeny and Givray in the Ourcq valley as well as the eponymous town and Le Coq hardi, the latter on the D310 departmental road. The railway line from La Ferté-Milon to Bazoches-sur-Vesles runs through the municipality, where it meets the line from Soissons to Reims .
