Reuilly-Sauvigny is a French municipality with 201 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Essômes-sur-Marne (formerly: Condé-en-Brie).
geography
The community, which consists of the districts of Reuilly in the west and Sauvigny in the east and Le Clotais, is located around 11.5 km east of Château-Thierry on the south bank of the Marne . The community is bypassed by the D1003 département road south. The railway line from Château-Thierry to Dormans and on to Épernay runs through them . It borders on Courthiézy in the Marne department to the east . North across the Marne lies Passy-sur-Marne ; there is a road connection from Sauvigny via a bridge over the Marne. Down the Marne is Courtemont-Varennes on the left bank of the Marne . In the south of the municipality there are extensive forest areas that extend upwards from the Marne valley. Adjacent communities in the south are, from west to east, Mézy-Moulins , Crézancy , Connigis , Monthurel and Vallées en Champagne .
