Mareuil-en-Dole is a French municipality with 240 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Fère-en-Tardenois . The inhabitants are referred to as Mareuillois (es) .

geography

The community in the Forêt de Dôle forest area is located around 27 kilometers north of Château-Thierry and six and a half kilometers north-northeast of Fère-en-Tardenois . The municipality extends in the north to the Muze and the railway line from La Ferté-Milon to Bazoches-sur-Vesles , which meets the line from Soissons to Reims there.

The districts of Les Tournelles, La Neuville and Bayon as well as Bel-Air belong to the municipality. Neighboring municipality in the east is Chéry-Chartreuve , in the north Bruys .
