Connigis is a French municipality with 332 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Essômes-sur-Marne (formerly: Condé-en-Brie).

Connigis is about 12 kilometers east of Château-Thierry on the border with the Marne department on the Surmelin river . Pargny is home to the Les Étangs group of houses on the heights east of the Bois de Connigis forest.

traffic

The disused railway line from Château-Thierry via Condé-en-Brie to Montmirail runs through the town on D4 .
