The church

Loupeigne is a French commune with a population of 91 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and is part of the canton of Fère-en-Tardenois . The inhabitants are known as Loupeignois (es) .

geography

The municipality is located around 27 kilometers (by road) north of Château-Thierry and five kilometers north of Fère-en-Tardenois on the Muze. The railway line from La Ferté-Milon to Bazoches-sur-Vesles runs through them, where it meets the line from Soissons to Reims . The municipality includes the districts of Le Moulin in the valley floor at the confluence of the Muizon stream, Le Point du Jour, Vaux and Petite Ferme.

There is a large military cemetery in Loupeigne.
