Montgru-Saint-Hilaire is a municipality with a population of 32 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Soissons and is part of the canton of Villers-Cotterêts .
geography
The community is located approximately 20 km (road distance) south of Soissons , 21 km north of Chateau-Thierry south of the Ourcq and managed by the department of road traversed D79. The Trilport – Bazoches railway , which meets the Soissons- Reims line in Bazoches-sur-Vesles , runs just outside the municipality. The industrial area of the municipality is connected via an industrial track. To the west, the Le Wadon stream forms the border with the neighboring municipality of Vichel-Nanteuil . The homestead Le Chêne belongs to the municipality. Neighboring municipalities are Rozet-Saint-Albin and Oulchy-la-Ville in the north, Breny and La Croix-sur-Ourcq in the east, Latilly in the south and Vichel-Nanteuil in the west.
