Celles-sur-Aisne is a commune with 258 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Soissons and is part of the canton of Fère-en-Tardenois and the communal association Communauté de communes du Val de l'Aisne . The inhabitants are known as cellois (es) . The municipality is the bearer of the Croix de guerre 1914-1918.

geography

The community with the living quarters Chimy and La Courtabois located east of Soissons at the department road D925, the northern bank of the Aisne follows. The Aisne limits the municipality to the south. Neighboring municipalities are Nanteuil-la-Fosse and Sancy-les-Cheminots in the north, Aizy-Jouy and Vailly-sur-Aisne in the east, Chassemy and Condé-sur-Aisne in the south and Chivres-Val in the west.
