The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Soissons and is part of the canton of Fère-en-Tardenois . The inhabitants are known as Cerseuillois (es) .

geography

The municipality with the district Le Moulin, touched in the west by the departmental road D22, is located south above the valley of the Vesle , a left tributary of the Aisne , around 18 km east-southeast of Soissons . Neighboring municipalities are Braine in the north, Limé in the east, Jouaignes and Lesges in the south, Couvrelles in the west and Augy in the northwest.
