Courcelles-sur-Vesle (before 2009: sur-Vesles) is a commune with 350 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Soissons and is part of the canton of Fère-en-Tardenois . The municipality carries the Croix de guerre 1914-1918.

geography

The municipality is located 19 km southeast of Soissons on the right bank of the Vesle and Route nationale 31 (also European route 46 ). It includes the districts of Le Mont Hasard, Crève-Coeur, Vauberlin and Le Château. Neighboring municipalities are Cys-la-Commune and Saint-Mard in the north, Dhuizel , Vauxtin and Paars in the east, Quincy-sous-le-Mont and Limé in the south and Braine and Brenelle in the west.
