Monnes is a French municipality with 104 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Soissons , to which it moved from the arrondissement of Château-Thierry with nine other municipalities in 2017 , and is part of the canton of Villers-Cotterêts .

Located on the height, little wooded community with the district Cointicourt is on the department road connected to the D84 road department D4 that the approximately 11 km west located La Ferte-Milon with Neuilly-Saint-Front connects. In the south it is bordered by the Ru d'Allan brook. Neighboring municipalities are Macogny in the west and north, Neuilly-Saint-Front in the east, Priez and Saint-Gengoulph in the south. In the west of the municipality there are three wind turbines (more in the area of the neighboring municipality Neuilly-Saint-Front).
