Lhuys is located on the river Muze, a tributary of the Vesle , and is crossed by the Trilport – Bazoches railway line . Neighboring municipalities of Lhuys are Jouaignes in the northwest, Tannières in the north, Mont-Notre-Dame in the northeast, Bruys in the southeast, Mareuil-en-Dôle in the south, Loupeigne in the southwest and the municipality of Arcy-Sainte-Restitue in the canton of Villers-Cotterêts .
