Longpont is a French municipality with 262 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Soissons and the canton of Villers-Cotterêts . Louis Vierne composed a piece for the organ with the Longpont carillon as the theme.

The municipality is located on the edge of the Forêt de Retz in the valley of the Ourcq tributary Savières , about 14 kilometers southwest of Soissons .
