geography

The community on the edge of the domain forest Forêt de Retz and the border with the Oise department is located around twelve kilometers north-north-west of Villers-Cotterêts on the D 973 departmental road that connects Villers-Cotterêts with Compiègne . Neighboring communities are Pierrefonds , Saint-Étienne-Roilaye and Chelles in the north, Mortefontaine and Taillefontaine in the east, Haramont in the south and Morienval in the west.
