Blanzy-lès-Fismes is a commune with 106 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Soissons and is part of the canton of Fère-en-Tardenois . The inhabitants are called Blanzyacois (es) . The municipality carries the Croix de guerre 1914-1918.
geography
The municipality, right on the border with the Marne department, is located on the D967 departmental road and the Ru du Moulin stream. Neighboring municipalities are Serval in the north, Bazoches-sur-Vesles in the south and the commune nouvelle Les Septvallons that since 2016 the former municipalities Glennes , Longueval-Barbonval , Merval , Perles , Révillon , Vauxcéré and Villers-en-Prayères composed that since then have had the status of a Commune déléguée .
