geography

The municipality, north-east of Soissons with the district of La Motte, lies north of Route nationale 2 , which connects Soissons with Laon and is crossed by the D26 departmental road. Neighboring communities are Pinon in the north, Vaudesson in the east, Sancy-les-Cheminots and Nanteuil-la-Fosse in the south, and Laffaux and Vauxaillon in the west.
