Launoy is a municipality with a population of 99 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (former Region: Picardie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Soissons and is part of the canton of Villers-Cotterêts . She was awarded the Croix de guerre .
geography
The municipality on the Ru de Launoy, which flows into the Aisne Crise as a source stream , is located around 16 kilometers (road distance) south-southeast of Soissons and 28 kilometers north of Château-Thierry . It includes the districts of Neuville-Saint-Jean, L'Ermitage and Les Bovettes. Neighboring municipalities are Muret-et-Crouttes in the north, Arcy-Sainte-Restitue in the east, Beugneux in the south, Grand-Rozoy and Hartennes-et-Taux in the west and Droizy in the north-west.
