Pasly is a northern commune with 1,019 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Soissons and the canton of Soissons-1 (until 2015: canton of Soissons-Nord ).

Pasly is about three kilometers northwest of Soissons . The Aisne River limits the municipality in the southeast. Pasly is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vauxrezis in the north and north-west, Chavigny in the north and north-east, Cuffies in the east, Soissons in the south and south-east and Pommiers in the west and south-west.
