Chivres-Val is a French commune with 530 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Soissons , the Canton of Fère-en-Tardenois (until 2015: Canton Vailly-sur-Aisne ) and the Val de l'Aisne municipal association .

The municipality is located about ten kilometers east of Soissons , 25 km southwest of Laon and 48 km northwest of Reims . Chivres-Val is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Nanteuil-la-Fosse in the northwest, Celles-sur-Aisne in the northeast, Condé-sur-Aisne in the east, Missy-sur-Aisne in the south, Bucy-le-Long in the southwest and the in Canton Soissons-1 located municipality Vregny in the northwest.
