Chris Wallace (born November 4, 1975 in Springfield , Ohio ) is an American arena football player on the position of quarterback .

Career

In 1993 Wallace went to the University of Toledo , where he played college football for the Toledo Rockets . He was a starter for two years, throwing for 5,454 yards and 44 touchdowns . He was not selected in the NFL Draft . He then received a trial training with the Pittsburgh Steelers , but was not signed by them. He then stayed away from professional football for a year.

In February 2000, the Carolina Rhinos signed him from af2 . He then played for the Orlando Predators . On March 24, 2002, he was placed on the Injured Reserve List . From 2002 he played with the Florida Firecats . Since 2005, Wallace started 83 games in a row before missing a game due to an injury. In af2 he set the records for most thrown yards, most touchdowns and the season record for total yardage.

In 2011 he played for the New Orleans VooDoo and Pittsburgh Power in the Arena Football League . He started playing for the Florida Tarpons in 2012 and led them to victory in the Ultimate Indoor Football League in 2013 . He then became head coach of the Columbus Beast from the X-League . After the team was not set up, he was offered the post of Head Coach of the Marion Blue Racers , which he refused. In 2014 he started playing with the Blue Racers from the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL). In 2015 he started playing for the Tarpons again. In his first year he led her to another championship, this time in the X-League. His contract was extended on November 27, 2017. In 2018 he played with the Atlanta Havoc in the American Arena League .
