The Pittsburgh Power were an arena football team from Pittsburgh ( Pennsylvania that) in the Arena Football League played (AFL). The Power played their home games in the Consol Energy Center .
history
The Power was founded in 2011 and started in the AFL. After the Pittsburgh Gladiators , who were part of the AFL's founding teams in 1987, the Power was the AFL's second Pittsburgh-based arena football franchise.
After fourteen wins and only three defeats in the main round, the Power were eliminated in their only playoff season in franchise history in 2014 in the quarter-finals.
After the 2014 season, the owners decided to dissolve the franchise.
