The Clear Lake is a small lake in the river system of the St. Lawrence River . It is located not far east of Plessis in Jefferson County in the US state of New York .

At least the following ten fish species live in Clear Lake, which is mainly angled in winter: largemouth bass , black bass , American pikeperch , pike , black-spotted sunfish , blue sunfish , catfish , American perch , stone bass and pumpkin seed bass .
While the north bank of the lake is largely covered with forest, houses belonging to the town of Alexandria can be found on the south bank ; there is a boat ramp to the west. Clear Lake has three very small tributaries, two in the south and one in the north. Its outflow, located in the northeast, is regulated by a small dam.
