Saint-Etienne-Roilaye is a northern French municipality with 310 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Compiègne and the canton of Compiègne-2 ( Attichy until 2015 ).

Saint-Étienne-Roilaye is about 18 kilometers east-southeast of Compiègne . Saint-Étienne-Roilaye is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cuise-la-Motte in the north, Croutoy in the northeast, Chelles in the east, Retheuil in the south and Pierrefonds in the west.
