Courtieux is a northern French municipality with 181 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Compiègne and the canton of Compiègne-1 ( Attichy until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Cortilliens .
geography
Courtieux is located about 26 kilometers east-southeast of Compiègne on the Aisne . Courtieux is surrounded by the neighboring communities Bitry in the north, Montigny-Lengrain in the south and east, Hautefontaine in the south-west and Jaulzy in the west.
