Saint-Léger-aux-Bois is a French commune with a population of 795 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement Compiègne and the canton Thourotte (until 2015: canton Ribécourt-Dreslincourt ). The inhabitants are called Carolipontois .
geography
Saint-Léger-aux-Bois is located about eleven kilometers northeast of Compiègne . The Oise forms the northern boundary of the municipality. Saint-Léger-aux-Bois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pimprez in the north, Bailly in the northeast, Tracy-le-Mont in the south and east, Le Plessis-Brion in the southwest and Montmacq in the west.
