Chevincourt is a French municipality with 869 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement Compiègne and the canton Thourotte (until 2015: canton Ribécourt-Dreslincourt ). The inhabitants are called Chevincourtois .
geography
Chevincourt is about nine kilometers north of Compiègne am Matz . Chevincourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities Élincourt-Sainte-Marguerite in the north and west, Cannectancourt in the north-east, Machemont in the east, Mélicocq in the south and Marest-sur-Matz in the south-west.
