Muirancourt is located in the Pays Noyonnais about 33 kilometers north-northeast of Compiègne on the River Verse . Muirancourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fréniches in the north, Guiscard in the east and northeast, Crisolles in the southeast, Bussy in the south and southwest and Frétoy-le-Château in the west and northwest.
