Nampcel is a northern French municipality with 317 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Oise in the Région Picardie . It belongs to the Arrondissement Compiègne and the canton Compiègne-1 (until 2015: canton Attichy ).

Nampcel is located about 17 kilometers northeast of Compiègne . Nampcel is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Caisnes in the north and north-west, Cuts in the north and north-east, Camelin in the north-east, Blérancourt in the east, Audignicourt in the east and south-east, Autrêches in the south and south-east, Moulin-sous-Touvent in the south and west and Carlepont in the Northwest.
