Haute Fontaine is a northern French municipality with 335 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Compiègne and the canton of Compiègne-2 ( Attichy until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Altifontains .
geography
Hautefontaine is about 22 kilometers east-southeast of Compiègne . Hautefontaine is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Jaulzy in the north, Courtieux in the northeast, Montigny-Lengrain in the east, Mortefontaine in the south, Chelles in the west and southwest and Croutoy in the west and northwest.
