Carlepont is a French commune with 1,514 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement Compiègne and the canton Noyon (until 2015: canton Ribécourt-Dreslincourt ). The inhabitants are called Carolipontois .
geography
Carlepont is located about 17 kilometers northeast of Compiègne . Carlepont is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Sempigny in the north and northwest, Pontoise-lès-Noyon in the north and northeast, Caisnes in the east, Nampcel in the southeast, Moulin-sous-Touvent in the south and southeast, Tracy-le-Val in the south, and Bailly in the Southwest and Chiry-Ourscamp in the west.
